Wave Error ยท App Access
How to Fix Wave App Not Working
Wave Accounting fails to load, freezes mid-session, or displays "Something went wrong" errors. As a cloud-only platform, Wave issues are almost always browser-side, network-side, or in-flight Wave platform incidents.
At QuickFix Bookkeeping, Wave issues fall into three buckets: browser problems (cache, extensions, outdated version), network blocks (corporate firewall, VPN), or platform incidents (Wave-side outages). Diagnose which bucket before applying a fix.
What Causes This Issue?
Browser Cache Corruption
Stale cached Wave assets cause silent JavaScript failures. The app loads partially or hangs at the dashboard.
Outdated Browser Version
Wave actively supports the last two major versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Older browsers produce rendering errors.
Browser Extensions Blocking Wave
Ad blockers, privacy extensions, or script blockers (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, NoScript) can interfere with Wave's functionality.
Wave Platform Incident
Wave is experiencing a partial outage or degraded service. No local fix will help until Wave restores the affected service.
